Stardust Cruisers is owned and managed by boaters who have a passion for building boats. They understand from personal experience the boater's perspective on what is important in a boat, and in the customer's boat building and ownership experience.
David Barrett, President, is responsible for operations at Stardust. He is on site daily providing hands-on leadership. He is always accessible to customers, insuring customer services is a priority. David is originally from Somerset, KY and holds an engineering degree as well as an MBA. Prior to joining the Stardust team, he owned and operated a commercial construction and development company in Atlanta for 20 years.
Bruce Chesnut is an avid boater with residences in London, Kentucky and Naples, Florida. He has several business interests including Laurel Grocery in London Kentucky, Kolb Aircraft, a manufacturing company of experimental aircraft, BPS Engineering in Tennessee, and he is a partner in State Dock, on Lake Cumberland.
Bill Jasper is a partner and is President of State Dock, a 450 slip marina on Lake Cumberland. Bill's extensive knowledge and passion for boating is evident at State Dock, which has evolved into the premier boating facility on Lake Cumberland. State Dock is home to the world's largest houseboat rental fleet. Bill and his wife Angie are the owners of "Cat Daddy", the first Stardust designed catamaran hull.
Shawn Bell is Vice President of Operations. His responsibilities include the daily operations of the plant, and oversight of the service and warranty departments. Shawn has eighteen years of Stardust experience in production, design, and sales.
John Gregory, Vice President of Sales, has been with Stardust since 1988. John has experience in every aspect of the houseboat industry having been involved in the production, service, transportation and design of over 1,300 houseboats.
Tommy Davis is the Production Manager. Having been with Stardust since 1989, Tommy has experience in all aspects of the design and production process.
